    Sikelbos burns with a calm blue/yellow flame. This wood has an aromatic scent and provides a serious amount of charcoal, making it perfect for use on the Braai (BBQ). This is also an excellent hardwood species and can therefore be used perfectly in smokers, pizza ovens, Ofyr and garden fireplaces.

    Braai wood properties

    • Braai wood from sekelbos is clean wood without bark with a beautiful appearance.
    • Wonderful scent, you bring the bush into your home.
    • Braai wood from sickle bush burns 2 to 3 times longer than European hardwood. Very
    • economical in use (up to 60% more economical)
    • No/very little smoke due to extremely low moisture content.
    • Gives for the braai / Ofyr fantastic coals. Gives 2 to 3 hours of heat.
    • Beautiful red/blue high flames with a nice flame pattern.
