    Briquettes are very popular, but did you know that many briquettes are made from the grit released during charcoal production? This is compressed with, for example, starch and the result is a briquette that burns briefly and produces a lot of ash. The coconut briquette is the perfect briquette. No trees are cut down, they burn longer than traditional briquettes and only 3% ash remains. Because briquettes have the same shape, it is extremely easy to dose in a kettle barbecue, while this is not always easy with charcoal.
