    How do you use these magnesium sticks?
    Practice makes perfect. Scrape some magnesium off the stick and let it end up on, for example, fire starters. Then scrape the stick again with a lot of force to create sparks. Tip: You can also hold the scraper still and pull the magnesium stick back instead of holding the stick still and trying to make sparks with the scraper.
