With the Kamado Joe Aluminium Control Tower Top Vent, you can precisely control the airflow and therefore the temperature of your kamado. Open it fully for high-temperature grilling or restrict the airflow for a gentle low & slow cook.
The ventilation openings are located on the side of the top vent. This provides better protection for the airflow control against rain and other weather conditions. The Control Tower is made of aluminium and stainless steel, making it rust-resistant as well.
A major advantage over the traditional daisy wheel is that the set ventilation position remains unchanged when you open and close the dome. This means you do not have to find the correct setting again every time
