    The Forged Intense Santoku Knife 18 cm is the Japanese version of the chef's knife. The word ‘santoku’ means ‘three virtues’, referring to the three cutting functions the knife can perform: fine cutting, slicing and dicing. This versatility makes it an all-rounder in the kitchen. Forged Intense knives are made from Japanese 440C steel with a hardness of 58 Rockwell. All Forged knives are hand-forged, have a blade thickness of 2 mm and a cutting angle of 18 degrees. The 18 cm Intense Santoku Knife comes in a luxurious wooden box and has a 10-year warranty.
