      The taste of vanilla pods is creamy and refined. How does a vanilla pod grow? This special spice grows on the vanilla orchid (Vanilla Planifolia). The fruits, which are considered berries, are carefully picked unripe. The pods are then heated moist and carefully dried.

      When you cut open a vanilla pod, the tasty vanilla marrow appears. The small black seeds are particularly aromatic, so you only need a small amount per recipe.
