    Nothing else sears a steak as well as the GrillGrate®. This PK300 & Original PK-specific GrillGrate® consists of two interlocking panels that are placed on your Original PK, PKTX, PK300 or PKAF grill to create a highly heat-conductive surface. The magic is in the raised rails that quickly transfer heat upwards so that food cooks quickly and evenly, just like an infrared hob.

    While your PK is designed to prevent flames when cooking with the hood closed, the GrillGrates prevent flames from burning food when the hood is open. This is ideal for preparing steaks at very high temperatures and achieving steak house quality searing results. GrillGrates are made of hard anodized aluminum, which conducts heat more efficiently than cast iron or stainless steel.
