    This traditional reddish-brown barbecue sauce is thick and full of flavour. The sweet taste of brown sugar and smoked hickory wood is combined with a touch of black pepper.

    The story of Sweet Baby Ray's:
    It all began in 1985, when Larry Raymond, a local Chicago boy and cook, perfected the family BBQ sauce recipe. He entered the country's biggest sparerib competition, the Mike Royko Rib-off, with the sweet and spicy BBQ sauce. He won 1st prize out of 700 participants. That says it all. He named the sauce after the nickname his younger brother, David, was given while playing basketball on Chicago's West Side – 'Sweet Baby Ray'. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, the Sweet Baby Ray's range consists of many delicious flavours, all remaining true to the slogan: The sauce is the boss!

    Ingredients: Fructose-glucose syrup, distilled vinegar, tomato purée, modified corn starch, brown sugar, contains less than 2% salt, fructose, natural smoke flavouring, pineapple juice concentrate, caramel colour, molasses, spices, sodium benzoate (preservative), garlic, * mustard flour, glucose syrup, sugar, tamarind, natural flavouring, celery seed. *Dry.
