This sauce is based on the flavours of Korean cuisine, which is known for its ‘fusing cooking’: a fusion of various cultural culinary influences. This is why this sauce can be used in almost any recipe. It is there to boost the flavour, including in dishes outside of Asian cuisine. Think, for example, of your favourite pasta sauce. The combinations are endless.

      Use it as a flavour-enhancing marinade for meat, poultry, vegetables or fish. Royal Umami is perfect for grilling, steaming, stir-frying, braising, simmering, roasting, glazing and dipping. Be careful with too much direct heat to prevent the delicate garnishes in the sauce from burning. Use it cold on your hamburger, pita, pizza, hotdog or sandwich, or warm as a sauce over your loaded fries or as an extra ingredient in a sauce you have put together yourself.
