    Product description

Linden honey from the beekeeper is a light and fresh raw honey harvested from linden trees in the area around Ede, located in the Gelderse Vallei. This region is known for its green landscape and forms the heart of our beekeeping operation. The honey comes entirely from our own bee colonies and is extracted directly from the hive without additives or processing.

The linden trees begin to bloom in mid-June, a flowering period that generally lasts until around mid-July. During this time, the lindens release a distinctly sweet fragrance that attracts bees from even great distances. The bees collect abundant nectar during this period, resulting in characteristic linden honey with a clear and refined flavour profile.

The honey is light in colour and has a thin consistency. Its flavour is gently sweet and fresh, with a distinctive minty aftertaste that makes linden honey so recognisable. This makes the honey highly suitable as a sweetener on bread, stirred into yoghurt or added to tea and other hot drinks.

The linden honey is processed raw and carefully extracted by centrifuging, preserving its flavour and consistency. As it is a pure natural product, its colour and flavour may vary slightly from one harvest to the next.
