With the Petromax Fire Anchor you can spontaneously turn any bonfire into a practical and versatile cooking appliance including grill. The coated steel fire anchor can be easily and quickly anchored in the ground next to your fire pit. Whether you want to use it over an open fire on the Atago, over the barbecue or over the fire bowl, it reliably helps you cook with a Dutch Oven (up to FT6), prepare hot water in the kettle or grilling fruit skewers and meat on the grill rack.
Always an arm's length ahead
Your fire anchor has a central pole, which is fixed into the ground, and three arms that you can attach separately to the fire anchor and vary the height and setting. Two of the arms have notches at the ends where you can attach your cookware. The third arm has a grill rack and an extra notch for your grill gloves and for your grill and coal tongs.
Standing well on solid ground
However, before using the Fire Anchor, you should pay attention to the specific soil conditions near the fireplace. Sandy soil, for example, is less suitable because the fire anchor finds little support here. When cooking with heavy firepots, make sure the weight balance is sufficient to ensure a stable position of your Fire Anchor.
