    Product description

    Ash wood is considered one of the best types of wood for burning in the Netherlands – and for good reason. It combines the best properties of other types of wood, making it the perfect middle ground between heat output, burn time and ease of use.

    Ash wood is a hardwood that does not spit, making it exceptionally suitable for both open fireplaces and wood-burning stoves. It burns slowly, provides even heat and has a calm yet beautiful flame. For lighting, we recommend kindling and firelighters using the Swiss fire-lighting method.

    The logs are normally split and measure approximately 25 cm in length. For the best burning results, we recommend using at least 3 logs at the same time in your open fireplace or stove.

    All our ash firewood is guaranteed kiln-dried, completely free from mould and pests, and ready for immediate use. The wood is delivered in a sturdy wooden crate, tightly stacked. Please note! Unfortunately, this crate cannot be returned.
