    Product description

    Alder wood is the ideal choice when you want a powerful, warm fire quickly. This type of wood burns quickly and intensely, making it particularly suitable for heat-retaining stoves and soapstone stoves, bringing both the stones and the room up to temperature quickly.

    Alder wood produces a beautiful flame and is known for its very clean burn. As it is a softer type of wood, it is also very easy to light and quickly releases a lot of heat. We recommend lighting alder wood with kindling and firelighters using the Swiss lighting method.

    The wood is suitable for almost any stove, but less suitable for larger open fireplaces. The logs are conventionally split and have a length of approximately 25 cm. For the best heating results, we recommend using at least 3 logs at the same time.

    All our alder firewood is guaranteed kiln-dried, completely free from mould and pests, and ready for immediate use. The wood is delivered in a sturdy wooden crate, tightly stacked. Please note! Unfortunately, this crate cannot be returned.
