    Alder firewood is the ideal choice when you want a powerful, warm fire quickly. This type of wood burns quickly and intensely, making it particularly suitable for heat-retaining stoves and soapstone stoves, to bring the stones and the room up to temperature quickly. Thanks to its rapid ignition and high heat output, alder firewood is perfect for those who want immediate results.

    Alder firewood produces a beautiful flame pattern and is known for its very clean burn. It is a softer type of wood, making it very easy to light. We recommend lighting the wood with kindling and firelighters using the Swiss lighting method.

    The wood is suitable for almost any stove, but less suitable for larger open fireplaces. The logs are normally split and measure approximately 25 cm in length. For the best burning results, we recommend using at least 3 logs at a time.

    All our alder firewood is guaranteed kiln-dried, completely free from mould and pests, and ready for immediate use. The wood is delivered in a sturdy wooden crate, tightly stacked. Please note! This crate cannot be returned
