    Product description

    Oak is the ideal wood species for anyone who values a long and consistent burn time. Of all the common wood species available in the Netherlands, oak burns the longest—provided it has been properly dried. Thanks to its high density, oak provides powerful, long-lasting heat and is ideal for extended fires.

    For lighting, we recommend kindling and firelighters using the Swiss fire-lighting method. Compared with other wood species, oak produces a calmer and less vigorous flame. Oak bark also naturally contains more tannins, which can cause additional creosote deposits in the flue when the wood has not been sufficiently dried. To prevent this, we supply only guaranteed kiln-dried oak, so you can enjoy a safe and clean fire.

    The logs are conventionally split and have a length of approximately 25 cm. Oak firewood performs best when using at least 3 logs at a time in your open fireplace or wood-burning stove.

    All our oak firewood is completely free from mould and pests and ready for immediate use. The wood is delivered in a sturdy wooden crate, neatly stacked. Please note! Unfortunately, this crate cannot be returned.
