    Birch wood is a type of wood that burns quickly and brightly, making it perfect for those who love a cosy fire. It is suitable for almost any stove, but less suitable for larger open fireplaces. Thanks to its bark, birch wood creates a beautiful flame display and a characteristic crackling sound, instantly adding extra atmosphere.

    Because birch wood is a softer type of wood, it is very easy to light and quickly gives off plenty of heat. For the best results, we recommend lighting it with kindling and firelighters using the Swiss lighting method.

    The logs are normally split and approximately 25 cm long. Birch firewood is best enjoyed when using at least 3 logs at a time in your stove or open fireplace.

    All our birch firewood is guaranteed kiln-dried, completely free from mould and pests, and ready for immediate use. The wood is delivered in a sturdy wooden crate, tightly stacked. Please note! Unfortunately, this crate cannot be returned.
