    Our ash and birch firewood combines the best of two popular types of wood. Birch wood provides a quick, bright fire and is ideal for those who enjoy a cosy fire. It creates a beautiful display of flames and a characteristic crackling sound from the bark. Thanks to its soft structure, birch wood is easy to light and gives off heat quickly. It is suitable for almost any stove, but less suitable for larger open fireplaces.

    Ash wood is considered one of the best types of wood for burning in the Netherlands. It offers the ideal middle ground: a hardwood that does not spit, burns slowly and produces a calm yet beautiful flame. This makes ash wood highly suitable for both open fireplaces and wood-burning stoves.

    For lighting, we recommend using kindling and firelighters according to the Swiss lighting method. The logs are conventionally split and have a length of approximately 25 cm. For optimal burning results, this firewood is best used with at least 3 logs at a time.

    All our ash and birch firewood is guaranteed kiln-dried, completely free from mould and pests, and ready for immediate use. The wood is supplied in a sturdy wooden crate, tightly stacked. Please note! Unfortunately, this crate cannot be returned.
