    Birch is a type of wood that burns quickly and intensely, making it ideal for those who enjoy a cosy fire. It is suitable for almost any stove, but less suitable for larger open fireplaces. Thanks to its bark, birch wood produces a beautiful play of flames and a characteristic crackling sound, creating an extra cosy atmosphere in your home.

    Birch is a softer type of wood, making it very easy to light and quick to give off plenty of heat. For the best results, we recommend lighting the wood with kindling and firelighters using the Swiss lighting method.

    The logs are normally split and have a length of approximately 25 cm. For optimal enjoyment, we recommend using at least 3 logs at a time in your stove or open fireplace.

    All our birch firewood is guaranteed kiln-dried, completely free from mould and pests, and ready for immediate use. The wood is delivered in a sturdy wooden crate, neatly stacked. Please note! This crate cannot be returned.
