The special design of the Big Green Egg convEGGtor ensures good air flow and excellent heat conduction along the ceramic of your barbecue. The indirect heat that passes through the ceramic heat shield transforms your EGG into a full-fledged outdoor oven, but in kamado form. Ideal for low & slow cooking where you slowly cook ingredients at a low temperature.

    With indirect cooking, when you place the ingredients on the outside of your grill, they receive more direct heat. this is due to the openings on the sides of the convEGGtor. With the new shape of the Big Green Egg convEGGtor, these openings are smaller and ensure that you can cook more evenly on a larger surface area!
