    Product description

    The Binchotan “white” charcoal comes from Asia. The centuries-old Japanese production process ensures high-quality charcoal. The very high carbon percentage of the Binchotan Maitiew (96-98%!) ensures that temperatures above 800 degrees are feasible. Not every BBQ can handle this. A box of eucalyptus Maitiew Binchotan contains a combination of chunks and semi-long sticks.

    The Binchotan is free from sparks or smoke taste and burns extremely long. The extreme hardness makes it more difficult to ignite. Use a coal starter to light and allow 50 to 60 minutes for the product to start up.

    A few pieces of Binchotan between the regular charcoal is of course also possible. However, the Binchotan is a harder type of charcoal which can still be found in the BBQ after several sessions.
