    After long and intensive use of your Big Green Egg, the felt gaskets on the upper rim of the ceramic base and the underside of the ceramic lid with chimney will eventually become worn. Because this gasket protects the ceramics and ensures perfect air circulation (sealing), it is wise to replace it in good time. Is it difficult? Not at all. With the Gasket Kit, you can easily do it yourself. This roll of felt has an adhesive side, and installation is self-explanatory.

    It does not matter which Big Green Egg you have; there is a roll of felt for every size. The Big Green Egg Nomex High Heat felt can withstand extremely high temperatures, so you do not need any glue.
