      Is the felt on your Big Green Egg worn, damaged, or starting to come loose? Then it’s time to replace the felt gasket! With the Big Green Egg Gasket Kit, you can ensure that the lid fits properly onto the ceramic base again. This protects the ceramic and gives you more control over airflow and temperature while barbecuing.

      The felt forms a protective seal between the underside of the ceramic lid and the upper rim of the ceramic base. After frequent use, this gasket can wear out, reducing the effectiveness of the seal. With this replacement kit, you can renew the seal and keep your Big Green Egg in good condition.

      The Gasket Kit consists of a roll of heat-resistant, self-adhesive felt. This means you don’t need separate adhesive and can easily apply the felt yourself. First remove the old felt and any adhesive residue, clean the ceramic rim thoroughly, and apply the new felt evenly to the designated surfaces.

      This version is suitable for the Big Green Egg Large, XLarge, and 2XL. One set is sufficient for the Large and XLarge. Do you have a Big Green Egg 2XL? Then you need two Gasket Kits to provide both the ceramic base and the lid with new felt.

      With a new felt gasket, your Big Green Egg will seal properly again, and you’ll be all set for your next BBQ session!
