      Charcoal leaves ash behind. Removing it with the Ash Tool and collecting it in the Ash Removal Pan allows air to flow more easily through your Big Green Egg. This oxygen and airflow are needed to get your EGG up to temperature quickly and keep it there. The ash scoop fits perfectly into the opening of the air regulator to prevent ash from spilling.
