For over 60 years, PK has been known for its indestructible grills & smokers. PK grills are rust-resistant and incredibly durable. Production and sales of this legendary PK grill began in the 1950s. In the 1970s, production was halted due to a fire, and these extremely sturdy grills disappeared from store shelves. It wasn’t until the 1990s that the brand was revived by Paul James, the current owner of PK Grills.

Paul came across an old PK grill at a flea market. This grill had been used since the 1950s and was actually still in perfect condition. He was fascinated by this BBQ and discovered that a great many original PK grills from the 1950s were still in use. He decided to purchase the brand name and used the old flea-market grill as a mold to cast new aluminum PK grills.

Thanks to its virtually indestructible cast aluminum and perfect cooking properties, this iconic BBQ has remained almost unchanged. The rectangular shape provides plenty of space, allowing you to easily fit even large St-Louis style ribs. By opening the ventilation slides on the top and bottom at an angle toward each other and placing the fuel on one side of the grill, this barbecue is also ideal for indirect cooking. Low ’n slow is no problem at all!
