These GrillGrates (tm) consist of 5 interlocking panels that form a highly conductive cooking surface, fitting precisely on top of the standard and stainless steel grate of your PK CLASSIC Grill. The magic lies in the raised rails, which quickly transport heat upwards to cook food quickly and evenly, like an infrared cooker.

While your PK CLASSIC is designed to prevent Flare-Ups while cooking with the lid closed, GrillGrates (tm) add an extra layer of protection by blocking Flare-Ups while the lid is open. This feature is ideal for preparing steaks at very high temperatures and delivers steakhouse-quality results. GrillGrates (tm) are made of hard-anodized aluminium, which conducts heat more efficiently than cast iron or stainless steel.
