The iconic Big Green Egg has a new sibling: The Onyx, named after the gemstone of the same name. Wrapped in a deep, dark glaze with a subtle hint of green, while retaining the familiar spirit of Big Green Egg.

The Onyx is exclusively available in Europe in the two most popular sizes: Large and XLarge. This Special Edition was developed in response to the growing demand among European EGG fans for a darker version of their favourite kamado, with the quality you have come to expect from Big Green Egg.The Onyx Large Essential Master Set is a very complete version that lets you get started right away. With the new Quick Light Kit and SpeediLight Sticks, you can light the charcoal quickly and easily, making the Big Green Egg ready to use within 15 minutes. Thanks to the Dual Zone Deflector Basket and the redesigned half stainless steel grids, you can create different cooking setups.

Two Half Cast Iron Grids are also included. These cast iron half grids are ideal for grilling meat, fish and vegetables, and create distinctive grill marks. You can use them together as a full cast iron grill grid or combine them with a Half Stainless Steel Grid.

The set is completed with the intEGGrated Nest+Handler: a sturdy stand with wheels and an integrated handle. This places the Big Green Egg at a comfortable working height and allows you to move it easily and safely.
