    The convEGGtor / Plate setter creates a barrier between your dishes and the open fire of your Big Green Egg. The special design of the Big Green Egg convEGGtor ensures good airflow and excellent heat distribution throughout the ceramic of your barbecue. The indirect heat passed through by the ceramic heat shield transforms your EGG into a fully-fledged outdoor oven, but in kamado form. Ideal for low & slow cooking, allowing you to slowly cook your ingredients at a low temperature.

    When cooking indirectly, placing the ingredients on the outside of your cooking grid exposes them to more direct heat. This is caused by the openings on the sides of the convEGGtor. With the new shape of the Big Green Egg convEGGtor, these openings are smaller, allowing you to cook more evenly over a larger surface area!
